Hello, I am Kim Simpson, a visual artist, photographer, and educator based in the West of Scotland.  My work challenges visual norms in society with a particular focus on themes of identity and belonging.

I knew I wanted to work with the medium of photography when I was 10 years old, but should have listened to myself a lot sooner than my mid twenties.  However, the valuable life experiences in between those times are what drew me on to the path of visual storytelling.
